Our main objectives here at Kemco are to promote American manufacturing, embrace entrepreneurial spirit and exceed customer expectations.

Being in business over 40 years we have witnessed many changes in the way business has been conducted and products are produced. We have been successful in implementing the good changes while staying away from the bad.

Kemco was started in the early 60’s as an automotive tooling company specializing in Jigs, Fixtures and Patterns. In the mid 80’s after the company was taken over by the founders’ son, a new 10,000 sq.ft. building was built in Combs industrial park of Charlotte, Michigan. In 95’ an employee who had been with the company for 10 years prior purchased the company and today runs the company along with a brother who has also been with the company since the mid 80’s.

While over the years of gages, fixtures and machining being our main stay, a wide array of hobbies and special interest have worked their way into the company. These interests coupled to a fully equipped facility and an entrepreneurial spirit was the foundation of creating this very unique shop with such a vast collection of abilities and resources.
